Danger signs while on extended fast? | Forum

What signs do you look out for? What will make you put up a yellow flag and monitor your situation more closely? And what will make you red flag and break the fast immediately?


Mine are -


1. If my bp drops below 90/60 (both numbers) = yellow flag. If this goes to 3 days, break fast.


2. If my blood glucose falls below 4.0 = yellow flag. 3 days = break fast.


3. If I feel hunger (the throat/mouth thing) after 10 days, break fast.

I stop when I can't have anymore water. At some point my tongue will try to shove the water out of my mouth and it'll taste like a dead metal to me, regardless of its source (tap/mineral/sparkling/whatevs).
